Résumé
تعتبر ساحل العاج تاريخيا جزء من بلاد السودان التي تعني السود أو الزنوج التي شملت أجزاء كبيرة من الممالك الأفريقية في شرق وغرب القارة وهي سنار، دار فور، مالي، سكتو، برنو، كانم، باجرمي، وبامتداد بلاد السودان غربا تدخل فيهل غانا، ساحل العاج والسنغال وهذه البلدان تشمل مناطق النفوذ السياسي والاقتصادي لقبائل الماندنجو، الهوسا والفولاني وغيرها . سادت المنطقة في الماضي الدماء الزنجية الصريحة من نهر السنغال إلي النيجر الأوسط وانجذب إلي موطنها عدد كبير من الفولاني وغيرهم ممن تغلب عليهم الصفات القوقازية وكانت الدولة تتأثر بمملكة غانا وقت ازدهارها ويستوطن شعب الماندين تاريخيا بين المحيط الأطلسي غربا إلي منحني نهر النيجر شرقا.
