Administrative improvements and reforms in Malaysia began taking their place in the civil service since the early sixties, after a few years of independence (Merdeka), where they began with the least important reforms, such as the necessity for workers to wear a Budge "whose names are known to customers, to use quality systems and standards and advanced information technology to support the administrative reform plan It continues to evolve over the years. The credit for this development and progress in administrative reform processes must be acknowledged by the government adopting an independent approach to implementing administrative changes led by personalities such as “Tun” Abdul Razzaq and Dr. Mahathir, the Prime Minister Stay.
This paper provides an overview of administrative reforms in Malaysia in the past four decades: from 1960 to the time to the 1990s.
