Abstract

      The importance of the Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile regions lies in the fact that they are geostrategic areas, a crossing point for the states of Sudan and South Sudan, where you two regions have a major role in the war that took place between the north and south, where they represent a geographical separation between the states of Sudan and South Sudan. As it was a candidate to be a mixing, overlapping and converging region that contributes to unity, these hopes have faded after separation, and the two regions have become a hotbed of tension regarding the process of popular advice, which witnessed a lot of disputes about the meaning and interpretations of the Popular Counseling Law, at the level of the two state governments, which explains The magnitude of the difficulties and challenges facing the political and security stability process in the two states.


 As for the economic aspect, the last decade has witnessed one of the highest economic growth rates that Sudan achieved, with an average annual growth rate of 8% annually, with success in maintaining inflation rates within the planned range, with success in bringing about a continuous decline in the balance of payments deficit, thanks to the oil. What the economy in Sudan depended on, and after the secession, the economy was affected, which led to a decline in the collapse of the pound against the dollar.
